Database integrations

Monitor the databases your services depend on — query performance, locks, replication and resource health — next to the traces that call them. Self-hosted engines are collected by the Middleware agent; managed cloud databases connect through the provider's API.

Database not listed? If it exposes Prometheus metrics it can be scraped through the Prometheus integration. If not, tell us what you are running — requests are triaged weekly.

Frequently asked questions#

Asked before installing any database integration.

Prerequisites vary by integration type, but across all integrations you are required to have Admin level permissions to install a new integration. Consult the specific integration documentation for details regarding third party integration permissions.

Check the status of your account permissions in the Profile section of your account. If you do not have Admin level permissions, contact your system administrator to change them.
